Activities with Amber - Bubble Crafts!
I hope everyone is enjoying this new spring season we are entering into. With all of these warm days up ahead, I'm sure you are wondering how you are going to get your kids outside and keep them entertained. Well, we are popping in with some fun bubble activities to keep your kids busy for hours (see what I did there)! The activities below only require a few supplies, and will result in lots of fun!
Items required: plastic bottle, sock, dish soap, water
Add a squeeze of liquid dish soap into a bowl of water and stir until you have bubbles
Cut the bottom off of the plastic bottle
Slide the sock over the bottle
Dip the end of the bottle and sock into the bubbles
Blow on the mouthpiece and wah-lah, bubbles!
Items required: bubbles (or dish soap and water mixture used before), food coloring, straws, cardstock paper, bowls for separate colors
Mix together the bubbles and desired colors
Dip the straw into bubble mixture and blow colored bubbles onto the paper
Let dry and enjoy!
**please supervise children during bubble blowing with straws
If you're feeling adventurous, try this last bubble activity to make homemade giant bubbles!
We hope that these activities help your kids want to get outside. We love you all! Stay healthy and have fun!
