Good Afternoon families!

I know some of these activities have required some crazy supplies, so this week, I am bringing you a simple “paint with me” that will have your little Picasso raving about their work! I don’t know about you all, but I have seen the Tape Painting trend going around, so I thought I would share a fun how-to. This week, we are making a fun tape painting that easy and quick!

WHAT DO I NEED?

  • Canvas

  • painters tape or washi tape (so that it does not rip off the paper)

  • paint

  • paintbrushes

WHAT DO I DO?

  1. First, you are going to want to find a canvas and some tape. Next, you will want to use your tape and create a design. It can look geometric like this example, or more abstract. Be creative!

  2. Next, you will want to paint. Paint the different sections that you created with tape and LET IT DRY! Letting it dry is crucial so the tape won’t rip off the wet paint.

  3. Last, you will want to gently pull off the tape to reveal the design without the tape.

Join me next Wednesday at 3pm where we can paint together! Have a great week, we love you all!
