Growing at Home - Cleaning
You've probably noticed that your house gets messy a lot faster now that everyone is home all day. You think you cleaned a room and you turnaround;how did it get messy in the 2 seconds you looked away!?If you're not already doing so, this is a good time to start implementing chores for the whole family.
Julie Lythcott-Haims, author of "How to Raise an Adult" says that "household chores help kids build responsibility, autonomy, and perseverance." Harvard performed astudyshowingthat chores that contribute to the entire household (not just cleaning their room),helps kids learn to be future successful adults by:
Preparing them to contribute to future workplace
Feeling satisfied at accomplishing a job well done.
Learning to manage their time -As an adult, they will have to manage personal responsibilities along with work.

You can edit this chart to be more specific to your family's needs.
Some tips to make chores more fun as you're teaching them:
Turn chores into a game or a challenge.
Make chores a responsibility that must be completed before preferred activities.
Let them feel proud of their work, praise the positive.
